This matter is taken up through Hybrid arrangement (video conferencing/physical mode). Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the name of petitioner no.4 has been inadvertently mentioned in the cause title as Prasana Kumar Mohapatra and in fact his name is Prasant Kumar Mohapatra and he may be permitted to correct the same.

Permission is granted.

This is an application under section 438 of Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners in connection with Gadisagoda (Jodapadar) P.S. Case No.315 of 2021 corresponding to G.R. Case No.721 of 2021 pending in the court of learned J.M.F.C. -cumNGN, Brahmagari for alleged commission of offences under sections 341/323/324/379/506/354/354-B/ 427/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

In view of the nature of injuries sustained by the injured, while not inclining to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners, it is ordered that in the event the petitioners surrender and move for bail before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, the same shall be considered in accordance with law expeditiously by the Courts below. The case records shall be made available to the Court concerned.

The ABLAPL stands disposed of.
