Heard learned counsel for the parties.

The limited grievance of the Petitioner in the present writ petition is that he has preferred an appeal before the Hon'ble Governor of Odisha being represented by the Officer on Special Duty, Opposite Party No.2. It is further stated that the appeal has been filed on 3.1.2021. But as of now, no intimation has been received from the office of the Opposite Party No.2. 3.

Considering the submission made, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case disposes of the writ petition with a direction to the Opposite Party No.2 to take immediate action for disposal of the appeal, if any such is pending before the Opposite Party No.2, within a period of eight weeks from

// 2 // the date of production of the certified copy of this order. It is made clear that the procedural formality of hearing of appeal shall be scrupulously followed and the appellant shall be provided opportunity of hearing and for presenting the case in accordance with law.

With the above observation, the writ petition stands disposed of.
