Heard learned counsel for the parties.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking direction to the opposite parties to sanction and release the family pension in favour of the petitioner in terms of Rule-8(2)(b) of the Odisha Aided Educational Institution Employees Retirement Benefit Rules, 1981 in view of judgment passed in Ritanjali Giri @ Paul vrs. State of Odisha (School & M.E. Deptt.) & Ors : 2016(I) ILR 1162 and Bindusagar Samantaray v. State of Odisha (W.P.(C) No.27634 of 2020, disposed of on 13.09.2021). 4.
In course of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner states that highlighting the grievances, the petitioner has made representation to opposite party no.2 vide Annexure-6 and the same may be directed to be considered and disposed of within a stipulated time, to which learned State Counsel raised no objection.

As agreed to by learned counsel for the parties, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, disposes of the writ petition directing opposite party no.2 to take a decision on the representation filed by the petitioner vide Annexure-6 and pass appropriate order in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order by the petitioner.
