Heard Mr. A.K. Biswal, learned counsel for the petitioner.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking direction to the opposite parties to give preference to the petitioner as per the circular/letter dated 17.05.2021 of Govt. of India under Annexure-8, since he has completed more than 100 days COVID-19 duty, in the selection and appointment of Ayurvedic Medical Officer as per advertisement no.02 of 2021-22.

In course of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner stated that the petitioner may be permitted to file a fresh representation before the authority highlighting the grievances, and the same may be directed to be disposed of within a stipulated time taking into consideration Annexure-8.

Considering the facts and circumstances of this case,

but, however, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this writ petition stands disposed of with the direction that in case the petitioner, with regard to the grievance made in this petition, files a fresh comprehensive representation before the authority within seven days hence, the same shall be considered by the said authority taking into consideration Annexure-8, and pass appropriate order, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of such representation along with the certified copy of this order.

With the above observation and direction, the writ petition is dispose of.

Issue urgent certified copy as per rules.
