ORDER

1. Heard the learned counsel for the Petitioners and the State.

2. By means of this application, the Petitioners seek grant of bail U/s.438 Cr.P.C. in apprehension of arrest for their alleged involvement in the offences U/s. 498(A)/294/323/307/326/341/379/506/34 of IPC in connection with Mahanga P.S. Case No. 132 of 2018 corresponding to G.R. Case No.553 of 2018 pending in the court of learned JMFC, Salipur.

3. Learned Counsel for the Petitioners does not want to press the bail application in respect of Petitioner No. 1. Accordingly, the bail application in respect of Petitioner No. 1 is dismissed as not pressed.

4. So far as Petitioner Nos. 2 to 7 are concerned, learned Counsel for the Petitioners submits that quarrel was occurred between the Petitioner No.1 and the Informant in a silly matter for which the Informant had lodged the FIR against the Petitioners at the instance of her family members.

5. Considering the submission of the learned counsel for the Petitioners, nature of allegations, the circumstances appearing and the seriousness and gravity of the offences, while this court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail, it is directed that, in the event the Petitioners surrender and move for bail before the learned JMFC, Salipur in the aforesaid G.R. Case within a period of three weeks hence and they shall be admitted to go on bail on such terms and conditions as would be deemed just and proper by the said court with further conditions that the Petitioners shall appear in person before the learned court below on each date of posting of the case; shall appear before the I.O. and shall cooperate with the investigation as and when required; shall not threaten, intimidate or terrorize the Informant. Violation of any of the conditions shall entail cancellation of bail.

6. The ABLAPL is disposed of accordingly.
