This matter is taken up through video conference mode. Order No.

The Writ Petition involves the following prayer :- "On the aforesaid facts and circumstances, it is therefore, prayed that this Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to issue Rule Nisi, calling upon the Opposite Parties to show cause as to why the Opposite Parties shall not be directed to grant ex-gratia compensation in favour of the Petitioner to save the family of the Petitioner from distress pursuant to Annexure-4 as his wife died on 13.11.2019 due to accidental fire under such terms and conditions. And if the Opposite Parties failed to show insufficient/irrelevant cause, then made the said Rule Nisi absolute.
Pass any other order/orders as may be deemed fit and proper in the interest of justice.."

This Court finds, on the selfsame issue, the Petitioner has a pending representation, vide Annexure-5. Considering pendency of the representation on the selfsame issue before the competent authority, this Writ Petition is not entertainable at this stage. However, the Writ Petition stands disposed of directing O.P.3 to look into the request of the Petitioner, vide Annexure-5 and take decision as appropriate also taking into consideration the plea taken in the Writ Petition as well as the guideline, vide Annexure-4 by completing the entire exercise within a period of two months from the date of communication of this order by the Petitioner. One copy of the Brief be served on Mr.Das, learned CGC for communication. 4.
As restrictions due to resurgence of COVID-19 situation are continuing, learned counsel for the Parties may utilize a printout of the order available in the High Court's Website, at par with certified copy, subject to attestation by the concerned Advocate, in the manner prescribed vide Court's Notice No.4587 dated 25th March, 2020, modified by Notice No.4798 dated 15th April, 2021 and Court's Office Order circulated vide Memo Nos.514 and 515 dated 7th January, 2022.
