Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned counsel for the State.
This is an application under section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners in connection with C.T. Case No.211 of 2021 arising out of Jagatsinghpur P.S. Case No.642 of 2021 pending in the Court of learned Sessions Judge -cum- Special Judge, Jagatsinghpur for alleged commission of offences under section 21(c) and 29 of the N.D.P.S.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners have been arrayed as accused basing on the confessional statement of the coaccused before police and therefore, the anticipatory bail application may be favourably considered. Perused the F.I.R.
In view of the commercial quantity of brown seized from the possession of the petitioners and the bar under section 37 of the N.D.P.S. Act, while not inclining to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners, it is observed that in the event the petitioners surrender in the Court below within a period of four weeks from today and move for bail, the same shall be disposed of as expeditiously as possible in accordance with law. The case records shall be made available to the Court concerned.
The ABLAPL stands disposed of.
