1. This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement Order No (Virtual/Physical) Mode.
2. Heard Mr. Priya Ranjan Singh, learned counsel for the Petitioner.
3. The present transfer petition has been filed by the informant for transfer of T.R. Case No. 36 of 2022 pending in the file of learned Additional Sessions Judge -cum- Special Judge, (POCSO), Jeypore to any competent Court at Cuttack.
4. It is the main contention of the learned counsel for the Petitioner that while serving at Koraput the present proceeding was initiated at the instance of the Petitioner and after his retirement he is staying at Gondia in the district of Dhenkanal. It is also contended that the Petitioner is apprehending threat to his life if he will go and depose in the case at Jeypore.
5. Considering such submission, this Court permits the Petitioner to move the concerned District Judge under the Witness Protection Scheme, 2019. If any, such application is moved by the Petitioner
// 2 // before the concerned District Judge, the same shall be disposed of in accordance with law.
