This matter is taken up through Video Conferencing mode. 2.

Challenging the inaction of the Board of Secondary Education, Zonal Office, Sambalpur, the present writ application has been filed by the Petitioner, who is a student of LLR Nodal Uchha Vidya Mandir, Lajkura, Brajrajnagar. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the Petitioner that the name of the Petitioner has been wrongly reflected in the certificate issued by the Board. In this regard, learned counsel for the Petitioner draws the attention of this Court to a letter dated 20th December, 2018 written by the Headmaster, LLR Nodal Uchha Vidya Mandir, Lajkura, Brajrajnagar to the Secretary, Board of Secondary Education, Zonal Office, Sambalpur. 3.

Mr.S.S.Rao, learned counsel appearing for the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha submits that there is no such post of Secretary in the Board of Secondary Education Zonal Office, Sambalpur. Therefore, the letter written by the Headmaster is

Having heard learned counsel for the parties, this Court disposes of the writ application with a direction to the Petitioner to file a fresh representation before the Secretary, Board of Secondary Education, Odisha, Cuttack along with an authenticated copy of this order within two weeks. In the event such a representation is filed, the same shall be considered in accordance with law and shall be disposed of by a speaking and reasoned order within a period of eight weeks from the date of presentation of such representation. 5.

It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ application stands disposed of.

As the restrictions due to resurgence of COVID -19 situation are continuing, learned counsel for the parties may utilize a print out of the order available in the High Court's website, at par with certified copy, subject to attestation by the concerned Advocate, in the manner prescribed vide Court's Notice No.4587, dated 25th March, 2020, modified by Court's Notice No.4798, dated 15th April, 2021, and Court's Office Order circulated vide Memo Nos.514 and 515 dated 7th January, 2022.
