This matter is taken up through video conferencing mode.

The Petitioners in this writ petition have prayed for a direction to the Commissioner, Land Records and Settlement & Consolidation, Odisha, Cuttack for early disposal of R.P. Case No.1139 of 2015.

Mr. Nayak, learned counsel for the Petitioners submits that the matter has not yet been considered and notice has not been issued to the opposite parties therein. He, therefore, submits that a direction may be issued to the Commissioner, Land Records and Settlement & Consolidation, Odisha, Cuttack to take up the matter for issuance of notice to the opposite parties.

In that view of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction that in the event the Petitioners file a memorandum for consideration of the aforesaid R.P. Case

// 2 // No.1139 of 2015 for issuance of notice to the opposite parties along with certified copy of this order before the Commissioner, Land Records and Settlement & Consolidation, Odisha, Cuttack-Opposite Party No.1, he shall do well to accept the same and fix a date, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of filing such memorandum for consideration of the matter for issuance of notice to the opposite parties therein, if the matter is otherwise ready. 5.

As restrictions due to resurgence of COVID-19 situation are continuing, learned counsel for the parties may utilize a printout of the order available in the High Court's website, at par with certified copy, subject to attestation by the concerned Advocate in the manner prescribed vide Court's Notice No.4587 dated 25th March, 2020 modified by Notice No.4798 dated 15th April, 2021, and Court's Office Order circulated vide Memo Nos.514 and 515 dated 7th January, 2022.
