The application of the Petitioner vide Annexure-3 for disbursement of compensation under Land Acquisition Act arising out of Land Acquisition Case No.54/2019/51/2019 is stated to be pending before the Tahasildar-cum-Land Acquisition Officer, Dhenkanal Sadar, Dhenkanal-Opposite Party No.2.

Regard being had to the facts and submissions and the nature of relief sought for, the writ petition is disposed of directing Opposite Party No.2 to dispose of the application of the Petitioner vide Annexure-3 within a period of four months from the date of receipt of the certified copy or soft copy of this order by passing a speaking order.

It is made clear that, if the Petitioner is entitled to receive the compensation amount and there is no other legal impediment, such compensation amount be paid to the Petitioner within two months from the date of disposal of the application of the Petitioner.

The Petitioner is directed to supply the copy of the writ petition containing all the annexures along with certified copy or soft copy of this order to Opposite Party No.2 for convenience and reference to Annexures-3.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. 8.

As the restrictions due to resurgence of COVID-19 situation are continuing, learned counsel for the parties may utilize a printout of the order available in the High Court's website, at par with certified copy, subject to attestation by the concerned advocate, in the manner prescribed vide Court's Notice No.4587 dated 25th March, 2020 modified by Notice No.4798 dated 15th April, 2021 and Court's Office Order circulated vide Memo Nos.514 and 515 dated 7th January, 2022.
