Heard Mr. R.K. Sahu, learned counsel for the petitioners, Mr. A.K. Nath, learned counsel appearing for opposite party Nos.1 to 3 and Mr. A.R. Dash, learned Additional Government Advocate.

According to Mr. Sahu, the petitioners are aggrieved by the inaction of the authorities in conducting enquiry with regard to the allegation of mismanagement of Sri Budheswar Mahadev Devgosoal Temple situated in the village Devgosoal in the district of Mayurbhanj. He further submits that though the petitioners have filed a grievance petition dated 23.10.2021 under Annexure-4 before the Additional Assistant Commissioner of Endowments, Cuttack (opposite party No.2) however till date

// 2 // nothing has been done in the matter.

Refuting such submissions, Mr. Nath submits that after receipt of the grievance petition under Annexure-4, the opposite party No.2 has directed the Inspector of Endowments, Mayurbhanj (opposite party No.3) to enquire into the matter and submit a detailed report vide Memo No.1643/44-Mbj dated 30.10.2021. In such background, Mr. Sahoo prays that a direction be issued to the Inspector of Endowments, Mayurbhanj (opposite party No.3) to complete the enquiry within a specific time period. 4.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the Inspector of Endowments, Mayurbhanj (opposite party No.3) to complete the enquiry in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order and place the same before opposite party No.2 for passing of appropriate order on such report as per law. Opposite party No.2 is directed to communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner No.1, who in turn is directed to share such information with other petitioners.. 5.

Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. 6.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application in course of the day.
