This matter is taken up through Video Conferencing mode. 2.

The present writ application has been filed by the Petitioner seeking for a direction to the Director, Higher Secondary Education, Opposite Party No.3 to take a decision on letters dated 17th July, 2019 as well as 23rd July, 2019 written by the L.S.S. Higher Secondary School, Motto, Bhadrak seeking clarification in the matter of grant of grant-in-aid in shape of Block Grant. 3.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the Petitioner that the Opposite Party No.3 has not taken any decision and communicated the same to the concerned Principal.

Learned counsel for the School & Mass Education Department submits that he has no objection if a direction is given to Opposite Party No.3 to act on the letters submitted by the Principal, L.S.S.Higher Secondary School, Motto.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties, and considering the limited grievance of the Petitioner involved in the present writ application, this Court disposes of the writ application with a direction to Opposite Party No.3 to take a decision in the aforesaid two letters within a period of two months from the date of production of authenticated copy of this order before him and communicate such decision to the concerned authority i.e. Opposite Party No.4 within a period of 10 days from the date of such decision. 6.

It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands disposed of.

As the restrictions due to resurgence of COVID -19 situation are continuing, learned counsel for the parties may utilize a print out of the order available in the High Court's website, at par with certified copy, subject to attestation by the concerned Advocate, in the manner prescribed vide Court's Notice No.4587, dated 25th March, 2020, modified by Court's Notice No.4798, dated 15th April, 2021, and Court's Office Order circulated vide Memo Nos.514 and 515 dated 7th January, 2022.
