Heard Mr. A. Jena, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. S.K. Samal, learned Additional Government Advocate. 3.
According to Mr. Jena, the petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction of the authorities in sanctioning her a house under Biju Pucca Ghar Scheme though she is eligible to get the same. He submits that though highlighting her grievances, the petitioner has approached the Block Development Officer, Naktideul (opposite party No.3) on 12.9.2021 by filing a representation vide Annexure-1, however, till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to the said opposite party to take a decision on the above noted representation within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the Block Development Officer, Naktideul (opposite
// 2 // party No.3) to take a decision on the above noted representation of the petitioner under Annexure-1 in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of production of a copy of this order, if in the meantime, the same has not been disposed of and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.

Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. 6.
