This matter is taken up by video conferencing mode. 2.
Heard Mr.Mahunta, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr. Mohanty, learned Addl. Standing Counsel. 3.
According to Mr. Mahunta, the petitioners are aggrieved by action of the Opposite Parties in not taking any step for extending the benefit to them under the Odisha Resettlement and Rehabilitation Policy, 2006. He further submits that though highlighting their grievances, the Petitioners have approached the Collector and District Magistrate, Jajpur (OP No.1) on 12th November, 2021 under Annexure-4 series by filing a grievance petition, but till date nothing has been done. In such background, he submits that a direction may be issued to the Opposite Party No.1 to take a decision on the above noted grievance petition within a specified time.

Considering such submissions, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the Opposite Party No.1 to take a decision on the above noted
// 2 // grievance petition of the Petitioners in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate result of such exercise to Petitioner No.1, who in turn is directed to share such information with other petitioners.

The writ application is accordingly disposed of. 6.
Urgent certified copy of the order be granted on proper application.
