The parties had entered into a contract clause 25 whereof contains an arbitration agreement. As per sub-clause v thereof, the disputes and differences are to be referred to the sole arbitration of an officer of the respondents which is not possible in view of the amended Act.

The petition is, therefore, disposed of by appointing Mrs. Justice Sneh Prashar, former Judge of this Court, as the sole arbitrator.
