On account of a dispute between the parties, the applicant has filed this application under section 11(6) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 for appointment of an arbitrator as the respondents failed to do so in terms of clause 253A of the agreement between the parties. Learned counsel for the applicant has prayed that Er. B.S.Sabharwal, Engineer in Chief (Retd.) be appointed as an arbitrator. Learned counsel for the respondents has no objection to the same and infact gives his consent for appointing him as sole arbitrator. In view of the aforesaid, Er. B.S.Sabharwal, Engineer in Chief (Retd.) is appointed as an arbitrator to adjudicate upon disputes and differences between the parties. The fees shall be as per the Chandigarh Arbitration Centre (CAC) (Administrative Cost and Arbitrators' Fees) Rules, 2014 or as may be settled by the parties and the arbitrator. The arbitrator be informed accordingly.

The application stands disposed of.
