(Oral) This is a petition under Section 11 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (hereinafter referred to as 'the Act') for appointment of an Arbitrator for resolving the dispute arising from the 'lease agreement' dated 26th August, 2015 entered between Sh. Rakesh Kumar s/o Sh. Ram Chander (respondent herein) and Sh. Mohit Kumar s/o Sh. Mohan Lal (petitioner herein). 2.

Upon notice of motion having been issued, Sh. Jatinder Nagpal, Advocate, has put in appearance on behalf of the respondent and submitted that he has no objection for appointment of an Arbitrator. 3.

After arguing for sometime, learned counsel for the parties have agreed for appointment of Sh. Hemant Kalia, Advocate (Reg. No. P/317/1976), Ch. No. 636, Judicial Court Complex, Ludhiana, as an Arbitrator in the present case.

Accordingly, the petition is disposed of by appointing Sh. Hemant Kalia, Advocate (Reg. No. P/317/1976), Ch. No. 636, Judicial Court Complex, Ludhiana, as the sole Arbitrator. The fees shall be as per the Chandigarh Arbitration Centre (CAC) (Administrative Cost and Arbitrators' Fees) Rules, 2014.
