Admittedly, the agreements in each of the matters contain arbitration clauses.

Admittedly again, the petitioner has invoked the arbitration agreements.

In these circumstances, the petitions are disposed of by appointing Mr. Justice N.K. Sodhi, former Chief Justice of the Karnataka High Court, as the sole arbitrator.

Each of the matters constitutes a separate reference and, therefore, separate awards shall be passed. Whether common evidence ought to be taken or not will also be decided by the arbitrator. (S.J.
