SUVIR SEHGAL, J. (Oral) The petitioners had earlier approached this Court by filing CRWP No.2691 of 2019. However, since there were some typographical errors in the petition, therefore, the petitioners withdrew the said petition on 01.01.2020 with liberty to file a fresh one.

Manjeet Kaur and Karnel Singh, the petitioners before this Court, claim themselves to be major. They have pleaded that they have married against the wishes of respondents No.4 to 7 and seek protection to their life and liberty. They apprehend danger from respondents No.4 to 7. They have placed on record marriage certificate and photographs, Annexures P-3 and P-4, respectively evidencing their marriage. The petitioners have submitted a representation Annexure P-5 to Senior Superintendent of Police, District Jalandhar.
