Mr. Manish Shersia, Advocate for the petitioner. ****    This is an application under section 11 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 for the appointment of a sole arbitrator to adjudicate upon the disputes and differences between the parties. 2.

The parties had entered into a contract which contains an arbitration agreement. Disputes and differences having arisen between the parties, the petitioner invoked the arbitration agreement by its Advocate letter dated 01.10.2013.

The notice suggests the name of an arbitrator. The respondent, however, did not respond to the same.

The petition is disposed of by appointing Mr. Justice Sudershan Kumar Misra, a former Judge of Delhi High Court, as the sole arbitrator to adjudicate upon the disputes and differences between the parties.
