Prayer is for grant of anticipatory bail in criminal complaint titled as Dharminder Singh vs. Mohinder Singh registered under Sections 138/142 of NI Act pending in the Court of Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Guruharsahai, District Ferozepur. Admittedly, the petitioner jumped bail in the said criminal case on 2.11.2021, thereafter he moved Sessions Court seeking grant of anticipatory and his prayer was accepted vide order dated 13.12.2021 and he GAURAV SOROT 2022.01.12 15:42 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

( 2 ) CRM-M-1147-2022 was granted interim bail subject to payment of cost of `1,000/- to be deposited with District Legal Services Authority, Ferozepur within a period of one week and he was also directed to appear before the Court concerned within the stipulated period, the concerned order is Annexure P-5. However, from the perusal of order (Annexure P-6) dated 20.12.2021 passed by the Sessions Court, it appears that the petitioner failed to comply with the aforesaid order of interim bail and consequently, his bail application moved under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. was dismissed for want of prosecution. In view of the above, present petition is hereby disposed of with direction to the petitioner to appear before the trial Court/Duty Magistrate concerned within next 15 days from today and on his appearance before the said Court, he be released on regular bail by the said Court to its own satisfaction subject to payment of cost of `2,500/- which shall be deposited by the petitioner with District Legal Services Authority Ferozepur within a period of next 10 days.
