Present writ petition has been filed inter-alia praying for quashing of impugned order dated 12.10.2020, whereby respondent No.1 has exempted Education Providers and Volunteers from mandatory qualification of Teachers' Eligibility Test as well as Public Notices dated 20.10.2020 & 11.11.2020; vide which they were granted age relaxation.

This petition was heard along with batch of writ petitions including CWP No.22390 of 2020, on the premise that above concessions have been granted regarding 2364 posts of Elementary Trained Teacher (ETT) notified vide advertisement dated 06.03.2020 (para 34 of the petition).

-2CWP-213-2021 (O&M) This Court while deciding a Batch of 4 writ petitions (CWP-3363-2021 titled as Daljit Kaur & others Vs. State of Punjab & others) vide order of even date, has quashed the above advertisement along with entire selection process, including provisional merit list.

In view of the above, claim made in the present writ petition has become only academic in nature, thus the same is disposed off as having been rendered infructuous. Ordered accordingly.
