* * * * S.J. VAZIFDAR, A.C.J. (ORAL) This is a petition under Section 11(6) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 for the appointment of an arbitrator. 2.
This is a partnership dispute. The partnership agreement contains an arbitration clause. The parties have agreed to refer the disputes and differences between them to arbitration. Keeping all their rights and contentions open, this would include the respondents' contention that the claim is not maintainable in view of the petitioner having filed a suit.

The parties further state that they intend exploring the settlement through the mediation of the High Court Mediation Centre. 4.
