Petitioners allege that both of them are major and they got married on 02.01.2025 against the wishes of respondents No.4 to 6 who are related to petitioner No.1. This is their first marriage. 2.

Counsel for the petitioners submits that aforesaid private respondents No. 4 to 6 have threatened to cause harm to both the petitioners and in this regard, representation dated 02.01.2025 (Annexure P-5) was given to Senior Superintendent of Police, SAS Nagar but till date no action has been taken by the concerned authority in this regard. 3.

 1 behalf of respondents No.1 to 3. He submits that the concerned authority will look into the matter and take decision on the representation of the petitioners in accordance with law.

Mr. Sahil Mehndiratta, Advocate and Mr. Ashutosh Dhankar, Advocate puts in appearance on behalf of respondents No.4 to 6 and have filed power of attorney which is taken on record. Counsel for respondents No.4 to 6 submits that said private respondents are having no objection to the marriage of the petitioners which was solemnized on 02.01.2025. It is further submitted that respondents No.4 to 6 never interfered in the marital life of the petitioners and they never threatened to cause any harm to the petitioners. Counsel for respondents No.4 to 6 made statement that even in future private respondents are not going to object in any manner to the aforesaid marriage of the petitioners. 6.

Ordered accordingly.

However, any observations made in this order will not be construed as an expression of opinion on the validity of the marriage of the petitioners. In case the petitioners have committed any offence, law will take its own course.
