(Oral) Petitioner No. 1- Ganeshi Lal @ Waseem, aged 23 years and petitioner No. 2-Sana, aged 17 years have filed the present petition seeking issuance of directions to respondents No. 2 and 3, to provide protection of life and liberty to the petitioners, which is allegedly at risk at the hands of private respondents No. 4 to 10.

It is so pleaded in the petition that petitioner No. 1 was originally belonging to Hindu religion and by changing the religion from Hindu to Mohammedan, has changed his name from 'Ganeshilal' to 'Waseem'. Counsel submits that after chaining the religion, petitioner No. 1 has performed Nikah on 02.01.2023 with petitioner No. 2, who is minor being age of 17 years only.

On 04.01.2023 following order was passed by this Court: "Counsel for the petitioners seeks an adjournment to study the law recently introduced in the State of Haryana i.e. 'the Haryana Prevention of Unlawful Conversion of Religion Act, 2022'.

Adjourned to 18.01.2023."

Today, learned counsel for the petitioners seeks withdrawal of the present petition.

Dismissed as withdrawn.
