Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.90 dated 29.05.2018 under Sections 420 and 120-B IPC, registered at Police Station Sultanwind, District Amritsar Commissionerate.
Notice of motion was issued. Learned State counsel as well as learned counsel for the complainant appeared and contested the petition. I have heard learned counsel for the parties as well as learned State counsel and have gone through the record. As per the allegations in the FIR, accused committed a fraud VINEET GULATI 2019.01.14 15:46 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh with many people through Future Multi Trade Private Ltd. Company by
CRM No.M-84 of 2019 -2inducing them to invest money and accused started lucky draw scheme in the year 2016. Accused committed a fraud of `2.50-3.00 crores with 3429 persons. Whenever anybody asked for the details of money, accused used to give threats. The main accused is stated to be Sukhjinder Singh @ Gora and petitioner is nephew of the main accused.
Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the present case and in view of the serious allegations against the petitioner, I find that petitioner is required for custodial interrogation. No ground is made out for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Therefore, finding no merit in the present petition, the same is dismissed.
