In compliance of order dated 25.01.2024 passed by this court, whereby notice was issued to respondent No.2 to show cause as to why contempt proceedings be not initiated against him, learned State counsel has filed short reply dated 05.02.2024 by way of affidavit of Uttam Singh, IAS, District Magistrate, Hisar and the same is taken on record. The explanation furnished by respondent No.2 is satisfactory and he has also submitted unconditional apology and as such, the explanation furnished by respondent No.2 is accepted.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the grievance raised by the petitioner in the present petition has been substantially redressed and his children and wife have been released.

In view of the report of the warrant officer learned counsel for the petitioner wishes to withdraw the present petition. HIMANSHU 2024.02.12 11:01 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment.

In view of the above, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
