(ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for quashing FIR No. 459 dated 06.07.2019 (Annexure P-1) registered under Sections 148, 149, 323, 452 and 506 IPC at Police Station Gharaunda, District Karnal and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise dated 16.12.2019 (Annexure P-2) effected in between the parties. Pursuant to orders dated 14.01.2020 of this Court, the parties appeared before the Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Karnal, on 20.01.2020 to get their statements recorded. Learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Karnala, submitted his report vide letter No. 59 dated 15.02.2020, duly forwarded by the learned District and Sessions Judge, Karnal, vide letter No. 2530 dated 15.02.2020.

CRM-M-176-2020 -2According to the report, learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Karnal, is satisfied that compromise effected between the parties is genuine one, without any pressure or out of their own will. In compliance of order dated 14.01.2020, original receipts regarding deposit of costs of `20,000/- have also been produced in Court today. The same are taken on record. Be tagged at appropriate place. Considering the report of Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Karnal, dated 15.02.2020 and deposit of costs as well as the fact that the compromise will bring peace and harmony between the parties, aforesaid FIR No. 459 dated 06.07.2019 (Annexure P-1) and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, are quashed, qua the petitioners only. Registry is directed to verify deposit of aforesaid costs, with the concerned quarter.
