This is an application under Section 11(6) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, for appointment of an Arbitrator.

The agreement is admitted. Clause-24 of the General Rules and Directions contains an arbitration clause. The reference is to the Superintending Engineer of the circle of the Buildings and Road Branch of the Public Works Department concerned. 3.
Some of the claims have been granted. In respect of several other claims there are disputes.

In this case, I do not see any reason to deviate from the arbitration clause, although the appointment has not been made within 30 days as the parties were actively trying to sort out the matter. In fact, in respect of some of the claims the final decision is still pending before the authorities. 5.
In the circumstances, the petition is disposed of by appointing the Superintending Engineer of the circle of the PARKASH CHAND 2015.09.04 17:27 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document
