* * * * S.J. VAZIFDAR, A.C.J. (ORAL) This is a petition under Section 11 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 for the appointment of an arbitrator. 2.

The parties had entered into a development agreement dated 28.01.2014. Clause 20 thereof contains an arbitration agreement. Disputes and differences having arisen between the parties, the petitioner invoked the arbitration agreement by its advocate's notice dated 23.03.2015. 3.

The petition is, therefore, disposed of by appointing Sh. Vinod Jain, District Judge (Retired), Haryana, as the sole arbitrator. 4.

The venue of the arbitration shall be at the Chandigarh Arbitration Centre.
