 This is an application under section 11(6) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 for appointment of an arbitrator to adjudicate upon the disputes and differences between the aprties. 2.

Admittedly, there exists an agreement between the parties containing an arbitration clause. Some dispute has arisen and as per terms of the agreement, the same is liable to be referred to arbitration. Learned counsel for the parties are not at issue that an independent arbitrator be appointed by this Court to resolve the disputes. 3.

In view of above, I hereby appoint Mr. Justice A.K.Sikri, former Judge of the Supreme Court, as an arbitrator to resolve the disputes and differences between the parties. The fee etc. shall be as may be settled by the parties with the learned Arbitrator.
