(ORAL) This is a petition that has been filed for grant of regular bail in case FIR No.241 dated 01.12.2020 under Sections 384, 389, 420, 506, 120B IPC registered at Police Station City Fazilka, District Fazilka. Learned counsel for the petitioner would contend that the petitioner herein has been falsely implicated in the said matter, as reading of the contents of FIR would reflect that Mindo Bai wife of Malkeet Singh along with others had blackmailed the complainant by demanding a sum of Rs.1,80,000/- and an amount of Rs.1,50,000/- had been paid to the petitioner herein and others. The petitioner is in custody since 01.12.2020 and nothing is to be recovered from her, therefore, prays for concession of bail to the petitioner.
Learned counsel appearing for the respondent-State as well as the counsel appearing for the complainant oppose grant of bail to the petitioner while contending that charges have not yet been framed and that PANKAJ KUMAR 2021.04.06 16:17 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

I have heard learned counsel for the parties. Keeping in view the fact that since charges have not yet been framed, this Court does not deem it appropriate to grant regular bail to the petitioner at this stage.
