Mr. Dhruv Dyal, Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, on the instructions from Sub Inspector Lakhwinder Singh, has submitted that upon inquiry conducted by the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Dharamkot, the petitioner has been found innocent.
Keeping in view the aforesaid statement made by the learned State counsel, the present petition has been rendered infructuous and therefore, is dismissed as such.
