RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) 1.

Present petition has been filed praying for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.256, dated 01.11.2024, under Section 22 of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (offence under Section 29 of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 was added later on) registered at Police Station Tanda, District Hoshiarpur. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of this petition with liberty to the petitioner to surrender before the trial Court and file an appropriate application there. He further prays that direction be issued to learned trial Court to decide his bail application in a time bound manner.

Allowed as prayed for.

Petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty aforesaid. In case the petitioner surrenders before the concerned Court and applies for regular bail within seven days from today, then the Court concerned would decide the same expeditiously in accordance with law.
