ARVIND SINGH SANGWAN J. (Oral) This petition is pending since 2015 and afresh compliance affidavit was directed to be filed.

As per the compliance affidavit filed on behalf of the Superintending Engineer, PWD (B&R) Karnal Circle, Karnal it is stated that the eviction petitions under the Public Premises (Eviction & Rent) Act, 1972, are filed before the Collector, Indri for initiating the ejectment order against the persons, whose names are mentioned in the demarcation list dated 06.04.2014, which was decided on 03.11.2016, directing the illegal encroachment to be removed. Thereafter, on 17/18.11.2016, the illegal construction was removed by the PWD (B&R) Department and it is stated that as on today, there is no illegal encroachment at the spot.

Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of having been rendered infructuous.
