CRM-274-2024 Application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. read with Section 12 of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015, (for short, 'JJ Act') for interim bail.

Disposed off as not pressed.

CRR-23-2023 (O&M) Present petition has been filed under Section 102 of the JJ Act, for setting aside the order dated 09.11.2022 passed by learned Additional Sessions Judge, Panipat, vide which an appeal of the petitioner was dismissed and the order dated 24.08.2022 passed by the learned Principal Magistrate, Juvenile Justice Board, Panipat, whereby an application under Section 12 of the JJ Act for grant of bail to the petitioner, had been rejected. After arguing for some time, when this Court was not inclined to accept the prayer, learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submits that he does not press the petition for regular bail; but petitioner be granted interim bail to attend the marriage of his sister, which is going to be solemnized on 16.01.2024 being the only brother. 3.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from quarter concerned, acknowledged the factum of marriage.

In view of the above, present petition is disposed off with the direction(s) that petitioner be released on interim bail forthwith on his furnishing adequate bail and surety bonds subject to the satisfaction of learned trial Court/CJM/Duty Magistrate concerned and he shall surrender before the jail authorities on 18.01.2024 at 11:00 a.m. 5.

Ordered accordingly.
