Petitioner claims that amount of maintenance granted to her in proceedings under Section 125 Cr.PC against the respondent-husband Harinder Pal have not been deposited by the husband, who was an employee of UHBVN.

CRM-M No.29262/2016 was disposed of by this Court vide order dated 18.10.2016 with a direction to SDO concerned to look into the representation and take appropriate action in accordance with law. At the time of hearing counsel for the petitioner realizing that the appropriate remedy would be to file execution petition and as such no contempt is made out, prays for permission to withdraw the instant contempt to enable his client to seek appropriate remedy in accordance with law.
