Learned State counsel submits that a speaking order as directed by writ court was passed. Thereafter on 27.05.2016 elections to Municipal Council, Charkhi Dadri were conducted. According to him, no cause of action now survives.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be allowed to withdraw this petition with liberty to avail alternative remedy, if so required.
