NIRMALJIT KAUR, J. (ORAL) The contempt petition is filed for non-compliance of the order dated 11.09.2015 vide which a direction was issued to release withheld gratuity with interest of 9% per annum after regularizing the suspension period and thereafter to undertake revision of pay scales with reference to 5th and 6th Pay Commission and to refix petitioner's pay and arrears accordingly. Compliance report/reply by way of affidavit of Vijay Kumar, S.B., IAS, Director, Development & Panchayat Department Haryana, Chandigarh has been filed. As per the said reply, the gratuity with interest has since been released. It is further stated in para 3 of the reply that suspension period too was treated as duty period and thereafter as per para 5, the order has been complied with.

COCP-1124-2016 -2In view of the same, the contempt petition is dismissed. The rule issued against the respondent(s) stands discharged.
