JASWANT SINGH, J (ORAL) The petitioner, who retired from Treasuries Office, Gurgaon on 20.8.1992 and was seeking his pensionary dues, has preferred this contempt petition for non-compliance of order dated 17.9.2015 passed by this Court in CWP No.28593 of 2013, which was allowed while directing the respondents to release the pensionary dues of the petitioner and other consequential benefits, which have been illegally withheld by them as expeditiously as possible but not later than three months besides interest as decreed by the Civil Court.

Upon notice, an affidavit of Sunil Kumar Sharma, Joint Director Treasuries & Accounts Department Haryana Chandigarh has been filed in Court today wherein it is stated that the

COCP No.1147 of 2016 #2# following payments towards pensionary benefits have been released by Treasury Officer, Gurgaon to the petitioner: Principle Amount Interest @ 12% Pension 2616018 2312663 Death cum Retirement Gratuity 43890 123935.74 Leave encashment 38944 109969.32 GIS Cost 50000 Total 2750168 2550284 In response, learned counsel for the petitioner has not disputed the abovesaid fact.
