Affidavit of Mahesh Bansal, Estate Officer (Housing), Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA), PUDA Bhawan, Sector 62, SAS Nagar has been filed in court. Same is taken on record. According to learned counsel for the respondent a speaking order has been passed in terms of order passed by writ court. Same reads as under:- "In view of the above narrated facts, evidence available on record and since the petitioner has already been refunded the entire amount of Rs. 75,85,619/- alongwith 8% interest calculated from the date falling due after 36 months from the date of issue of Letter of Intent on 22.05.2012, the claim of the petitioner being without any basis and beyond the conditions of the brochure, is hereby rejected."

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be allowed to withdraw this petition with liberty to avail alternative remedy, if so advised.
