Jaswant Singh,J(Oral) Petitioner is stated to be a Medical Officer and posted with LNJP Civil Hospital, Kurukshetra. He is alleged to be dissatisfied with the SMO concerned for not equitably allocating work in the Hospital. He is stated to have filed representation dated 29.9.2016 to the Additional Chief Secretary, Haryana complaining about inequitable allocation of work in the Hospital by the SMO concerned. Subsequently, he filed CWP 21507/2016 which was disposed of by this Court vide order dated 17.10.2016 with a direction for deciding the aforesaid representation within two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of the said order. Since the needful has not been done hence the present contempt petition.
The very nature of the relief claimed falls within the domain of administrative work for which no mandamus can be issued. At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for permission to withdraw the petition.
