It is submitted that directions contained in the order dated 17.11.1998, whereby the respondents were directed to consider the case of the petitioner for promotion as Punjabi Master against the posts which were lying vacant prior to 8.7.1995 i.e. in accordance with unamended Rules within a period of 3 months, have been violated. After hearing counsel for the petitioner, no ground to invoke contempt jurisdiction is made out in view of the same being barred by limitation period mandated under Section 20 of the Contempt of Courts Act. Dismissed.
