IN THE HIGH COURT FOR THE STATES OF PUNJAB AND

HARYANA AT CHANDIGARH COCP No.12 of 2016 Date of Order: 29.7.2016 Sonia Mann and Anr.

....Petitioners

Versus

M.L. Kaushik ....Respondent

CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE RAKESH KUMAR JAIN

Present:

Mr. Ramandeep Singh, Advocate for Mr. Samrat Malik, Advocate for the petitioners. Mr. P.P. Chahar, DAG, Haryana.

RAKESH KUMAR JAIN, J (ORAL) Direction was issued by this Court on 10.8.2015 to respondent No.2 to take a final decision, on the show cause notice issued to the petitioners, to which they have already filed their replies, by passing a well reasoned and speaking order, after granting hearing to the petitioners expeditiously.

Respondent has filed reply and attached the order dated 05.2.2016, which has been passed after hearing the petitioners. Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the show cause notice has not been decided and the matter has been kept in abeyance to await the report of State Vigilance Bureau.. It is contended that the respondent should have decided the matter one way or the other instead of keeping the same in abeyance.

Learned counsel for the respondent has submitted that the decision has been taken, as directed by this Court, but final decision would be taken only after taking into account the report of State Vigilance Bureau.

COCP No.12 of 2016 #2# After hearing learned counsel for the parties, I am of considered opinion that no case is made out for contempt since the order dated 10.8.2015 passed by this Court has been complied with. Disposed of.
