**** ANOOP CHITKARA, J. (Oral) Prayer in this petition filed under Section 482 CrPC is for issuance of direction to respondent 2 to ensure free, fair and impartial investigation in the matter. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he would be satisfied if a time bound direction is issued to respondent no.2 to decide the representation dated 22.9.2021 (Annexure P-4).

The prayer is innocuous. Given above, the present petition disposed of with a direction to respondent no.2-Director General of Police, Punjab to either decide the representation dated 22.9.2021 (Annexure P-4) himself or authorize any other senior officer to decide the aforesaid representation by passing a speaking/reasoned order within one month from today, if not already decided. The petition is disposed of.
