Present contempt petition has been preferred as petitioner alleges violation of orders dated 21.01.2008 & 29.01.2006 whereby interim directions were given by this court. Admittedly, main revision petition has now been disposed of. Same has been decided in favour of the petitioner upholding order, Annexure P2 passed by trial court granting interim injunction under Order 39 Rule 1 & 2 CPC. Admittedly, proceedings under Order 39 Rule 2A CPC have been initiated by the petitioner and are pending before the court below. Regarding the alleged violation of order, FIR No. 36 dated 09.03.2017 has already been registered at police station Machhiwara. Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Pargat Singh, who is present in court, assures the court that investigation shall be taken to its logical end. There will be no delay in concluding the same.
