(Oral) On 18.4.2017, the matter was adjourned to enable the counsel for the State to find out as to whether anybody has occupied the land in dispute or not. On the last date of hearing, no one has appeared for the petitioner. Today also, no one is present on behalf of the petitioner. It is further stated by learned counsel for the State that possession of the land in dispute was handed over to the Gram Panchayat on 13.5.2014. Obvious, the petitioner is satisfied and does not wish to pursue the present contempt petition any further.
