Prayer in this petition filed by petitioner husband is for transfer of the petition bearing No.HMA-238 of 2021 filed by respondent-wife under Section 9 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, titled "Jaspreet Kaur vs. Mandeep Singh" pending in the Court of Principal Judge, Family Court, Khanna to a court of competent jurisdiction at SAS Nagar (Mohali).

Learned counsel for the respondent-wife, on instructions, submits that respondent has no objection if the present petition is allowed and the aforesaid case is transferred to SAS Nagar (Mohali). 3.

In view of the above statement, this Court deems it appropriate to allow the present petition, subject to the following conditions:- a) The petition bearing No. HMA-238 of 2021 filed by respondent-wife under Section 9 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, titled "Jaspreet Kaur vs. Mandeep Singh" pending in the Court of Principal Judge, Family Court, Khanna is transferred to a court of competent jurisdiction at SAS Nagar (Mohali).

T.A.No.6 of 2022 (O&M) b) The ld. District Judge, Ludhiana is directed to transfer complete record pertaining to the aforesaid case to District Judge, SAS Nagar (Mohali).

c) The parties, through their counsel, are directed to appear before the District & Sessions Judge, SAS Nagar (Mohali) on 24.02.2023.

d) The District Judge, SAS Nagar (Mohali) will assign the said petition to the Court of competent jurisdiction. 4.

The concerned Court at SAS Nagar (Mohali) will make all endeavour to refer the case before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre for exploring the possibility of some amicable settlement between the parties.

The Court concerned, where the litigation pending between the parties, will accommodate them with one date in one calendar month. Disposed of.
