COCP-1220-2017 In pursuance to the order dated 12.03.2019, Superintendent of Police, Ambala is present in Court.
In compliance of the order dated 07.11.2016, the respondents has placed on record the communication dated 08.04.2019 addressed to the Advocate General, Haryana by the Superintendent of Police, Ambala stating therein that the said order has been complied with and the dues amounting to `16,45,963/- calculated in accordance with the Government Policy have been deposited in the Treasury. It is further submitted that an amount of `4,15,854/- in lieu of interest has also been sent for necessary sanction. In view of the same, no useful purpose would be served in continuing with the contempt petition. The same is hereby dismissed. The rule issued against the respondent(s) stands discharged.
